My Story

About Roberta Harvey, RN, BScN — Founder of Glass Skin Med Spa

Roberta Harvey is a dedicated Registered Nurse with over a decade of diverse clinical experience and a passion for patient-centered care. Her nursing career began in 2011 as a home visiting RPN, later earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours from Trent University. Roberta went on to gain valuable experience in Medical-Surgical and Emergency departments at Oakville Hospital, before expanding her scope into community care coordination with Ontario Health.

Her leadership in healthcare continued at Canadian Hospital Specialties, where she trained nurses on infusion pumps and bladder scanners and helped implement surgical kits designed to reduce infection rates and improve efficiency across hospital systems. Later, as a Medical Affairs Clinician with Merz Aesthetics, she trained nurses and physicians on safe and effective use of the Merz medical aesthetics portfolio—an experience that inspired her to merge her love for healthcare and aesthetics.

In 2023, Roberta founded Glass Skin Med Spa, born from her passion for helping clients look and feel their best, inside and out. Committed to excellence, she has pursued extensive advanced training through Elite Medical, ATP Medical, the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics and Therapeutics, and multiple aesthetic education partners including Merz, Allergan, and Clarion Medical. She continues to refine her expertise by attending national conferences such as CBAM and CAMA (including cadaver lab training).

Alongside her med spa practice, Roberta continues to work as a Specialty Pharma IV Nurse with Bayshore Specialty Pharma—further honing her IV skills and integrating vitamin and longevity infusions into her wellness offerings at Glass Skin Med Spa.

After successfully building her business from home, Roberta is thrilled to announce the next chapter of her journey: the opening of her new Glass Skin Med Spa location in Oakville—a space dedicated to beauty, wellness, and empowering confidence through skilled, compassionate care.
